crazy garden

I've had a rush of enthusiasm for quilting my crazy garden quilt and have just finished the 11th block - only 9 to go plus the borders....

I've really enjoyed planning the block quilting - It's like doodling with a needle! (note the block in the top right hasn't been quilted yet)

  3. thanks for alerting me to your blog - Rose had just mentioned it this morning. what a fantastic idea and great to be able to share your creativity with everyone! love the garden quilt and think you should find a different word to rhyme with quilt other than guilt - women spend too much time feeling guiltyxxx Sarah F

  5. Absolutely love your garden quilt. What fun flowers and colors. I am amazed at your quilting. I no longer hand quilt. I send them out to be machine quilted now. I never was very good at hand quilting anyway and I don't miss it at all.

    1. I've recently tried machine quilting but just get frustrated with it. Hand quilting is very relaxing for me. Good job we are all different!

    1. Hi Steph
The pattern is from a book by Becky Goldsmith & Linda Jenkins called 'My Whimsical Quilt Garden' (Piece o' cake designs)- It is a recent publication so you should be able to find it.
