I began another kaleidoscope quilt when I was at the retreat last weekend and have started making the cubes to randomly scatter across the quilt. I still need to place all the hexagons and cubes in the right places but it's taking shape already and looks quite effective. Black borders will also make a huge difference.
This is becoming addictive!
I've also just made myself an extra large design wall which is essential for this type of quilt - light plastic panels from the DIY store taped together and covered with flanneling. Works a treat!
