Had a very enjoyable day yesterday at the Contemporary Quilt Group. We had a workshop on using Procion dyes and managed to come home with 11 bags of cotton fabric pieces in a lovely range between two colours. Considering we numbered almost 30 'dyers' we avoided making too much mess!
Now we have to think how to use them in our next month's challenge...
The brighter set are the main fabrics with the paler second set being the fabrics added later to make use of the remaining dye. The gradations are clearer than in the photos.

The room does look a lot cleaner than my limited experience with dyes!
