The official opening of 'stitched and bound', the exhibition for WA contemporary quilts, was yesterday.This is the first time I've entered this exhibition and was really happy to see my work accepted and on show.
The quilt was inspired by a mum and daughter 'selfie' taken last summer. It is machine appliquéd and quilted using my hand dyed, sprayed and block printed fabrics.
