Gone Fishing 2

After pondering how to stitch yesterday's fish I decided to try a slightly different applique method on a small practice piece - butting the shapes together without a gap. That meant that I could try covering 'Gone Fishing 2' with tulle and walking foot stitch between each shape. I rather like this method.
Perhaps there will be a 'Gone Fishing 3' up my sleeve...
Also the Kaffe fabrics are great for this type of applique. You can get great effects by fussy cutting the patterns!
