Temperature Quilt

A year ago I finished a temperature quilt but somehow in my busy quilting life I forgot to post about it.

I recorded the minimum and maximum daily temperatures in Perth throughout 2020, then selected a scale of colours to reflect the temperature range

I decided to applique a circle onto a square for each day (with the square colour denoting the minimum temperature and the circle colour denoting the maximum temperature for that day.) 

The circles were fused and then machine blanket stitched onto the square. From then on I used the easysquare method to construct the quilt. Click on the link to get the instructions easy square piecing
